Every night, when the sun has set and your perfectly bronzed and ready to dance, the bus shows up, right in front of the Far Out Beach Club, and loads in all its passengers and takes you up the hill for a night of bar hopping, dancing on tables, and shot games that rattle your brain but wake you up wearing a t-shirt you don’t remember winning.

We stayed in the center of the island, which I highly recommend, as you get views from both directions and a stunning look at the sunset every night. It also allowed us to do a fair amount of walking, up to the famous Blue Domed Church of Santorini on the northern end of the island (Oia). As well as down to where many bars and restaurants with rooftop patios, overlook the mountain goats and gondola that both easily disembark down the cliffside.
